A volunteer from the Zendai organization checks the blood oxygen levels of a woman in home isolation in a Covid-19 stricken community in Nong Chok district in the outskirts of Bangkok on July 26, 2021, as hospital beds for infected patients remain scarce across the nation. People who test positive for COVID-19 using a rapid antigen test can now be immediately admitted for care under the home isolation program, said CCSA Assistant Spokeswoman Dr. Apisamai Srirangsan today (Monday).

She disclosed that about 40% of people who went for RT-PCR tests at hospitals in Bangkok have been found to be infected with COVID-19 and similar tests conducted at hospitals in the provinces show a 25% infection rate, whereas antigen tests in hospitals show about a 14% infection rate.

While people testing positive with an antigen test kit (ATK) can enter and receive care under home isolation immediately, Dr. Apisamai said that entering community isolation will have to wait until the infection is confirmed by an RT-PCR test.

Again separating those they will not count as a case in their stats while giving them medicines, but those wishing to be entered into a community isolation center must have that positive result retested by a PCR test, which takes 3 days to be confirmed most times.  Yet the virility of Delta will turn some of those cases critical before the test results of PCR test come back and therefore they will be waiting on a real hospital bed, or may end up dying at home. Can this get any more ridiculous.  Yes my view from the outside looking inward.  Ludicrous.

If infection rates are dropping in Bangkok surely hospital bed space must be becoming available?

If with a positive ATK test the person is allowed Home Isolation, then a course of Green Chireeta and Favipar whats its name stuff will keep them off the Daily stats page.

Thailand to fully open when? October 10Th or something like that.

So the system is officially broken.

What do we really know that if truly fact?  So much of this is political CYA exercises.
