99% of the local Thai people don't smell anything.

I have seen no appreciable difference for ordinary Thais since the Sandbox opened.

I am sure you are right in stating this.

Sadly lowly Thais are really being screwed down at the moment, with little hope in the foreseeable future.

Actually my Thai family is just trying to keep me safe from COVID, but thanks for your comment.

2 of my Thai relatives have dies do far, and even they will not be going to the funeral as

the ones who died contracted COVID  Just so you know some of my situation.  What only 389 posts,  Newby...

Geezer

Dear Stargazer. I am sorry for your loss.

Phuket is an ISLAND and this could have been completely avoided. I advocated for exceptional controls back on June 16th but corruption or total dumbness is rife in Thailand (both actually). Look at the track record since then !

The next big thing will be the stupid idea of vaccine certification. I totally support vaccines but not enough effort has been paid to persons with natural covid antibodies.

Masks and closures are not intelligent ideas. History will prove that. Look at Sandbox. A great initiative gone horribly haywire, The murder of poor Nicole. Why did that happen?

I fear the worse is yet to come and it will be in the form of more crazy ideas.
