Thailand's Minister of Public Health  and Deputy Prime Minister said at the MoPH that Thailand has ordered an extra ten million doses of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. 

 

This will be available in the fourth quarter (October to December) and brings to a total of 30 million doses of that vaccine coming to Thailand.

 

In addition the US has donated an extra one million doses of Pfizer on top of the 1.5 million already given, reported Thai Rath.

Goodness me will the clown never shut up about ordering vaccines. Lets focus on delivered numbers of effective vaccines and on why this is soooo small (covax, reliant on one local supplier, buying from the CCP)

Deliver what you have on hand onto the arms of those needing vaccines and stop with all of the pomp and circumstance fake news.  Today I ordered 8 cases of Singha Zero Lemon Soda, when it will be delivered is another thing.  Do I have it, NO. So Anutin needs to shut his piehole until the vaccine has landed and ready to be administered. Talk is cheap here...

 I will try and stay positive and I hope they manage to get their Pfizer doses by the scheduled time. 

 

It's positive they are ordering such amounts of Pfizer or Moderna so let's applaud that and hope for the Thais they get their shots, even though Oct - Dec seems a bit far away in the current situation.

who stole my 40mln from the last statement a few weeks ago? The original plan was for 50mln of additional doses, over those 20mln already contracted.

and what happen with a promise to get more moderna?

situation has worsened and plans for orders should be increased, not decreased.

Where is J&J, which is approved already, but not ordered?

Or sputnik, mentioned a few times but never acted on?

For the regime, saying that they are ordering vaccines is easy.

 

For foreigners, registering (for the Nth time) for a vaccine is easy. OK, easier than it was in the Mor Prom days of olde.

 

Administering a vaccine? Not so easy.

 

I assume if the minister had real news, like deliveries, he'd share that vigorously. That he can only talk about "what ifs" is revealing.

 

All that said, they're over half a million vaccines administered in each of the last three days. They blew it out yesterday, with 570,865.

 

Not sure supplies will support this level for any sustained period.

 

 

30 million doses

is enough for 15 Millon people.

 

Why not go all in and get 100 million Pfizer and 100 million Moderna for the public.

 

Use Astra Zeneca on the army to keep them complacent.

 

After this you can order 100 million more for booster shots.  Any extra give to your neighbors before they expire.

 

10 million here and 20 million there doesn't cut it.

 

Anutim should have been doing this last year, F idiot.

AZ makes 3 million for Thailand , are there 3 million being vaccinated every month?

 

all I hear is over 60 or over 70, well how many over 60 and over 70 are there that they keep insisting for past 2-3 months over 60 or over 70 first

As with everything else in Thailand, the only shreds of accuracy are statements about what happened in the past. Not the present or future. And, even then, when the government is involved, the highest amount of accuracy might reach 20%.

Didn't say what year they would arrive but i'm guessing end of next or start of 2023 !

Those numbers in my opinion are a lie.

30 million?  I didn't know that Thailand had that many soldiers and Members of Parliament.

This sabateur creep has even less credibility that his boss. Nobody listens to anything he says anymore. He is a laughing stock of the nation. 

 

One wonders if he has any perception, consciousness or awareness of his lack of relevancy and the degree to which people do not take him seriously?

More Pfizer sounds great!

First, tell us with total transparency where the 1.5 million donated Pfizer is and where it is going.  Province by province to start.  Earlier it was stated for the 13 surrounding BKK provinces, but nothing on Bangkok ... why?

 

The donated Pfizer is rolling out so sloooowly at this point to frontline workers.  Some hospitals state they must have a lottery to see who will get it.  But Gov says more is coming ...  Why not come up with a distribution plan, not a committee, and share it with the province govenors and hospitals?
