PM Prayut tells officials to prevent violations of emergency decree

BANGKOK (NNT) - According to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), there have been complaints about activities in violation of the emergency decree, 127 of which are related to gambling and eight are about violating disease-control measures.

Bangkok, 19 August, 2021 – The “Phuket Sandbox 7+7 Extension” programme enables fully vaccinated international travellers to reduce the mandatory stay in Phuket from 14 to 7 days, after which another 7 nights can be spent in any of the extension areas in Krabi (Ko Phi Phi, Ko Ngai, or Railay), Phang-Nga (Khao Lak or Ko Yao), or Surat Thani (Ko Samui, Ko Pha-ngan, or Ko Tao).

PHUKET: Phuket Tourism Council President Thanet Tantipiriyakit has appealed for the government to set up a B5 billion ‘recovery fund’ for Phuket businesses without cash flow and mired in debt so they can start operating again in order to help support the Phuket Sandbox scheme.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's exports rose more than expected in July but the Southeast Asian country's biggest COVID-19 outbreak to date and movement restrictions are likely to impact shipments in August and September, the commerce minister said on Monday.

World’s Largest Floating Solar Hybrid Power Plant Will Begin Operating in Thailand in October

Reservoir Construction Project around a Thai Forest Complex Is Still in Study Phase

BMA administering COVID-19 vaccine to pregnant women

    Koh Larn to remain closed to non-residents until at least the end of this month

    The Koh Larn Local Committee announced last night (August 23rd) that they have decided to close the entire island for tourism until at least August 31st. It was originally set to end tomorrow, (August 24th).
