MiclB
I have never used the visa exemption request. I would like to have a 90-100 day this year. Travel from USA at end of Nov and Thai wife is avail for extension. I do realize that I can get the an O1 visa in US first, but next week they roll out a completely new platform for EVisa and I am wary of another learning curve with it. Thanks in advance,
Popular Post ubonjoe
You can get a total stay of about 120 days with a 30 day visa exempt entry by extending it for 30 days and then a 60 day extension to visit you wife. One problem with a visa exempt entry is that you may need to show a ticket out of the country to board your flight to here. They should have any bugs worked out with the new stickerless e visa by November. You could get a single entry non-o visa that allows 90 days and then the 60 day extension to visit your wife. 1

DrJack54
OP, if you decide that 120+ days would be preferred then be aware that you can enter visa exempt and obtain non O (marriage) in Thailand.
spidermike007
My Thai wife has a 10 year, multiple entry visa to the US. A K3. She has visited several times already. We are contemplating a change in lifestyle that would bring us in and of the US frequently. I cannot seem to find any information, as to whether or not there are any limits, on how many times a year, or how often she can enter the US. Anyone with similar experience, have any idea? They told me that they issue the visas, but customs and border patrol make the determinations about entires. Already spoke to them, and they confirmed she is entitled to an unlimited number of entries per year.
