The Sultanate's weather will be active today until September 29 due to the active development of rain clouds over the country, which will result in an increase in rainfall.

In the afternoon, coastal showers and thundershowers are forecast across inland areas, moving out towards the sea at night.
The occasional rainy weather is likely to last till the morning.
Rainfall might be heavy at times, with wind gusts reaching 40 km/h.
During rains, the sea state will be slight over Brunei seas, although it is likely to exceed one metre.

During heavy rains, the public is warned to remain careful for flash floods, particularly in low-lying and flood-prone locations as well as along riverbank areas.

During showers and gusty weather, there is a risk of landslides and fallen trees.

The public is urged to keep up with the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department's weather forecasts, advisories, and warnings, and to take precautions and activities to protect their safety.

Brunei WX, a smartphone app, provides the most up-to-date weather information, advisories, and warnings, which can be obtained soon after they are released.
