After reading the above news story I am wondering whether I should close out my PayPal account. Has anybody had a similar problem with a PayPal account in Thailand?

Keep in mind that they have more than 100 million users.

I can’t read the story (site blocked for EU visitors), but I wouldn’t worry about it, although I am curious why she has been unable to getting this resolved, without having to sue.

I’ve had PayPal accounts in five different countries, and had millions go through them, occasionally I’ve run into “you need to provide us with documents” as part of their KYC/AML. but the issue always got resolved, once they got the requested documents.
