For what I understand it does not work as the drug works on blood flowing which is not compatible with the femile physiology (I mean men needs this, woman...no idea)...On the other hand, there is a general believe that drugs work better on those who want to be cured.....I guess it should contribute to the excitement anyway! As someone who had a very strong sex drive, always went for 'seconds' immediately, remained hard after that, and was constantly thinking about sex - well, it's quite a change to have the following symptoms at middle-age... 1. reduced libido (sex drive) 2. EDS (takes time/encouragement to get an erection) 3. EDS (erection not as hard) 4. less intense sexual pleasure once excited (fewer/shorter 'plateaus') 5. reduced intensity/length of orgasm (sometimes even having an orgasm 'fizzle, i.e. ejaculate but without much of an orgasm) 6. less ability to have another orgasm right away I have concluded the following... i. accept my being much more fussy about sexual partners. I use the 'sniper' rather than 'shotgun' approach. I'm much more selective. ii. stop trying to be a sexual athlete. I am no longer 35 iii. enjoy other things life has to offer I do the following... a. exercise almost daily b. endeavor to lose my mid-body 'tire' c. relax d. experiment with herbs As backup I find the following useful... A. Indian made knockoffs of Viagra (cost effective) B. a certain commonly regulated herb that I wouldn't use in Thailand (seriously) I cannot recommend various chemicals and drugs such as purchased from Bangkok pharmacies. Apparently using testosterone redices the body's natural abilities to produce its own. And while several white or purple pills certainly worked to increase intensity of orgasm I felt my heart age ten years every time. I figure if something has been around for hundreds of years and used successfully there is probably some value to it if used properly, and if illegal, very discreetly. I don't trust new fangled inventions. Finally, remember what Vatsyayana, the author of the Kama Sutra wrote: "The best aphrodisiacs is the love of a beautiful woman". I would add loving and young. But a lot is counter-productive, and consuming alcohol regularly has too many debilitating effects. I think it's important to remember that there are various aspects to impotence (why is everyone afraid of that word?) and various causes. But the bottom line is both biological and economic. Our reproductive years are over. Women have their maximum reproductive years (puberty to what, 25?) We do too. We cannot compete with younger men in the same way in the sexual market place.
