Jeez, tell us something we don't know.  The problem is with the amount of crime, particularly international, that Nigerians are involved in.  Online Scam capital of the world for example.

Right, so if we all know it then what's the point of pointing it out each and every single time?

why is Immigration investigating narcotics crimes

May be it's easier to deport someone for breaking immigration laws than it is to deport someone for drug violations. Just a guess.

He was arrested for drugs offences by Immigration Police (who are part of the RTP), the passport issue was secondary.   IB would have no problem deporting someone convicted of drug dealing.

Gee, I hope thats not the same guy that promised to transfer $25 million into my account for an upfront fee of only $1,500.

Still waiting...

Depends. Did you send the $1500 to Sukhumvit or to Lagos?

Immigration Police tend to deal with foreigners in Thailand, that's why.

Actually, they enforce immigration laws. But thanks for your input.

Actually, they are officers of the RTP, Immigration Bureau, and can enforce any laws just as any other RTP officer can, but thanks for your input.
