Señal decade ago, I remember we had access to programs which would overwrite your storage two or three times. Whatever happened to that idea or is it no longer necessary?

Those are for mechanical disks which aren't often used anymore. Consumer solid state disks can barely hold the data you need on them let alone survive after a rewrite so one write of 0s is enough. Additionally their endurance is based on the number of writes which makes software that writes on disks repeatedly undesirable.

Is this the same police that own agogo bars with naked dancers... Or the ones that have asked bars to open and sell alcohol so the envelope can start again.

Hypocrites

Yes, the BIB seem to be living in a Crazy House ????

I've got to commend most of the Euro-culture here when it comes to intimacy and nudity.  There is only two basic flavors of a human and DNA decides that.  It's no big secret when it comes to the physiological description of the human bodies, or sexual practices.  Intimacy and nudity are a personal thing, yet much the World wants to label it as an illegal activity, even though it has been going on since the beginning of time.

Go to a library, or an online source and nude photos and intimate descriptions are very legal.  Yet record on one of your devices and it's illegal.

Most Euro folks know when and where it is appropriate.  Ever been to Ibeza?   While most folks are enjoying the sun, you can  identify a USA American by looking for the big camera with a telephoto lens.

So now you go to a Country, (not just SE Asia), and see extreme poverty where individuals choose to make a living in the skin game.  Oldest profession on Earth.  It is so sad that many Cultures shun and ignore it, rather than recognize and legitimize it.  Many guys and gals support their families from this trade.

Given that, as with any group of humans, there are some that take it to an extreme and general run afoul of their activities.  Abuse and crime are rife within the sex industry and until it is legitimized the sex workers will continue to experience situations like this.

The stupid jerk is guilty of defrauding a commercial entity.  The fact he has photos that were, as I understand, mutually agreed to, should not be a crime if no abuse or minor was involved.  But none of that should be an issue because our fearless leader tells us that the sex game dent exist in Thailand.

Thailand is one of the only countries I know of where you can pay for a BJ just as easily as you can purchase a copy of the New York Times at the corner news stand - but you're not allowed to visit pornhub.com.

If I am not mistaken in TH one is allowed to have sex pics on one's phone.

I'm not sure if that is true - it used to be that possession was not an offense (production*/import/distribution always was), but i understand the Suryanond Govt that came to power in the 2005?6? coup changed the law to make just possession an offense.

Perhaps those who know can confirm/correct this. I know this coz a friends workplace was raided and he deleted files - the first thing BIB did was see what the last viewed files were. My friend had deleted some files when they came in and when he said it was porn the BIB told him that possession is not an offense.

*production includes taken by yourself on your 'phone - you are at risk of 7 years in prison for producing porn movies.

Actually I don't think it's legal on your phone either.

I remember a case long ago about some foreigner who got beat up in his hotel room. Seems he'd picked up a "Beach Road Special" who agreed to let him film them having sex for 3,000 baht.
Except afterwards he only gave her 2,000. She apparently stormed out, got the boyfriend and came back. Boyfriend beats the foreigner, cops show up, cops check foreigner's phone/laptop, find the movie (and more) and guess who ends up arrested ?
(Hint, it wasn't the boyfriend !)

Also, keep in mind that in some places, like Canada, when you arrive at the airport supposedly the minimum wage "Border Security" types can demand you unlock your phone so they can examine it for illegal images. (Technically they aren't allowed to access the internet or ask for passwords to Facebook or email accounts, but a lot of people have "automatic log-ins" so they could easily see what you may have posted online even though they aren't allowed to look there.)

(It's been argued that its against a person's rights for them to do what amounts to a "warrantless search" but so far no one has successfully fought it in court as far as I know. In Canada.)

Laws vary from country to country and you can guarantee that you do not have a clue what they can and can't do when you fly "back home".

Are you trying to say Porn and naked pics of adults are not allowed in Canada ? What constitutes an illegal image ? Can i smoke a joint while waiting ?
