KhaoYai
Very sad to see the UK Government is going along with this farce and stating that some people can enter without qurantine. 'From 1 November, fully vaccinated visitors arriving from 46 countries, including the UK, may enter Thailand without quarantine.' https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/thailand/entry-requirements#entry-rules-in-response-to-coronavirus-covid-19 What is your understanding of 'quarantine' Mr. Consular Team? Is having to travel directly to an approved hotel where you must stay (in your room) until your PCR test result is received not 'quarantine' in the UK government's opinion? Have they been having 'Thainess' lessons? Also, the UK government's travel advice contains an error: 'You need a valid visa to stay in Thailand. ' No you don't. UK Nationals can enter for 30 days without a visa. Granted, this is recognised further down the page but why state it in the first place?
