Are positives still hospitalised or isolated in hotels?

Possibly isolated and treated at the SHA hotel, only hospitalised if symptoms become severe.

Since when, they stated many times every positive test goes to hospitAl/hospitEl regardless of symptoms or not

683 of those arriving were through the 7 - 10 day quarantine route, I suspect they were mostly Thai's and unvaccinated or untested before departure so they could make up the majority of those testing positive on arrival?

Yet, the airlines are following strict policies as to only allowing confirmed fully vaccinated/tested to board/fly.

This fact might put a crimp in your comment above.

If you're flying anywhere internationally today, a very good chance that everyone on the respected flight has had a jab or three and been tested 48-72 hours prior. And this is over and above the carriers in-flight protocol measures of masking, face shields and every other seat empty - even on the long haul flights.

I would want a retest, they were already tested less than 72hrs ago

With the negative 'result' required within 72 hours of departure, add on 24 hours before receiving the result and a 12+ hour flight and transit to hotel to be tested again, the timeframe can easily become 4 1/2 days between tests for some travellers

And yet these people lasted possibly 18 months without catching covid in their home country, before just happening to catch it during the window of "not detectable 72 hours before flight" and their arrival  PCR in Thailand.

More likely its the fact the infected 10 include all arrivals into Thailand, so 1 day "Test & go", 7 day Sandbox and 7-10 days quarantine for those not fully vaccinated (maybe even the captured border jumpers from Myanmar). So thinking most of the 10 are not the test & go fully vaccinated, jump through ridiculous hoops crowd

So what? The people arriving are double vaccinated and even though they have Covid, they are unlikely to cause any stress on the hospitals.

When will the government understand that they can not win over the virus? Covid is everywhere and will always be so.

Stop wasting time on testing and counting people that already double  vaccinated. Just focus on getting everybody vaccinated and make sure enough boosters are available. And then get in with normal life.

Count the people that are not vaccinated instead and make sure they get the vaccine or enforce any restrictions on them instead.

Sadly it seems now the vaccines work proper for a half year and then fades.

IN the raising numbers of corona victims now, also people who had the vaccination ARE in hospitals in ICU's  due to corona.

They are already giving older people (70-80 and up) a third, booster vaccine.

Some later followed by the 60 yo people and if necessary going up in age scale and again all people will have their 3th injection.

So it is a long way to Tipperary and we are a long way from home. Corona will stay longer with us.

We are going back in time and the first rulings come back again. Mouth cap and distance.

So prepare to have shots maybe even every 6 or less months, as they dont know much about the virus and all is a try & error.

As long as corona is alive and still mutating, we can die.

I still believe this is all a set up to get population on earth down. I agree there are too many people here, but in this way?

We already had H1N1 , SARS, MERS but failed.

Exactly. It's become clear to the powers-that-be that we were barely smart enough to form civilization and aren't smart enough to be able to keep it, so they had to come up with a way to raise the average.

This plan is a pandemic that will weed out those not smart enough to get vaccinated. Sure, there will be collateral damage, but that's the price of progress. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So we now have 4 tested positive from 10,667 arrivals in BKK under the "Test & Go" program...that's 0.037%

Is it really worth the effort for that %

- 0.037% could have HIV

- 0.037% could have Herpes

- 0.037% could have congenital heart problems

- etc, but all likely higher % than above

Also why are most positive tests going to Phuket (9 out of 13 when you count the 3 in bkk transit), always knew Pattaya was where the "cleaner falangs go" lol

No matter what, their current ways of doing things will not beat the virus and it’s a complete waste of resources.

Many double vaccinated tourists will just catch the virus during their holiday, which then results in a never ending hunt for those and resources used to isolate people that are not even sick. That for sure will scare even more tourists away and hurt the economy further.

The virus can not be beaten. It has won and the “zero covid” agenda is simply not working. It’s amazing they can not get this into their heads and make them stop trying to fight an impossible battle.

I think they actually understand that covid will be around no matter what, but it's a great excuse to keep the protesters in line and ruin businesses (especially in Patts) so they can buy up cheap

This is further evidence that the Thai people are the true Zombies in the room now, and THEY are the great health hazard to incoming international tourists. So, who is really taking the risk? No need to be afraid of us. We don't bite and we are not the danger. Be afraid of yourselves, and especially those Thais from Bangkok. They are causing the spread, not us.

Stop the stupidity! Stop the ignorant blame!
