I was the same but since I got on (I don't post anything) I have found it so useful for seeing how others are finding solutions re Thailand. I recommend you start. I follow a "stuff for sale in Pattaya" group, and use Marketplace - there are loads of cheap condos to rent. Just a quick example of it's usefulness.
