corkman
Has anyone flown through Savarnabhumi international recently? Is there anywhere to get a beer, air side? Are the lounges open, and if yes can you get a beer or glass if wine there? Thanks.
Popular Post treetops
At least one Thai, one Miracle and the JAL lounge are open. Don't know about Thai, but there was drink available in the other two.

Speedhump
I thought this was going to be a thread about paperwork, etc. ???? I'm impressed with your priorities! All paperwork is checked several times, incidentally, but not taking too long. 2

Leaving, I assume its just passport and PCR test and vaccine certs, right?

JRG23
Get a beer before you go through immigration!! None the other side. Go to the far right on departures, to the convenience store there. I sat around there. Completely empty. That's only place I could find!! Nothing open on the air side at all. Just the usual hi-so Rolex shops etc. Certainly no beers. Edited November 25, 2021 by JRG23

It was my wife flying into Thailand, and she left Thailand around 6 weeks ago, so I wouldn't be sure that exit requirements are the same now. But coming in they wanted to see every document she was carrying, even at two different desks before the actual immigration officer's desk. But she did say it was smooth and not terribly time consuming.
Mentors65
5 weeks ago after immigration out, there were nothing open. King power under construction, restaurants closed. Near the gate i've found a single vendor machine with expensive water and coke. Edited November 25, 2021 by Mentors65
spidermike007
A very desolate and deserted place a few weeks ago. Thai lounge was open, but the food and beverage selection was that of a bankrupt airline. Most other lounges were closed.
arithai12
When I was there about 2 weeks ago, Emirates was using the Turkish lounge. Beer ok, but the food was to order. The whole place looked almost deserted, eerie.
smutcakes
The airlines lounges are, otherwise the place looked mostly deserted, albeit i was on a very late/early morning flight. I was flying Qatar and i can say they had some lovely 20 year old Tawny Port and a cheese platter which made the two 7 hours flights fly by so to speak. Probably for the passengers around me it was less enjoyable. 1
bubba
The TG lounge looks dark and deserted and has beer, juice and sodas. There is also a rather grim selection of packaged snacks. As spidermike said above, it does indeed like like that of a bankrupted airline.

corkman
Thanks for all the informative replies. Guess I’ll sit at the convince store as one response suggests. I like to have a few beers before boarding, helps relax and sleep better before a long flight.
