Do not understand your question. A non immigrant O visa is never valid for more than one year so you must be talking about extensions of stay from immigration and they are only done in Thailand. If the extension has been based on marriage and 400k bank deposit that method can still be used and there will probably not be any 3 month in account required this year - but it will be required on the next extension of stay.

Sorry, I try to better explain.

I'm 57 years old, single and I have a Non "O" multi entries who exoire in August this year. I want a new same visa (Sing?) but the problem is the deposit.

I had 1 mio in a Thai bank by the middle of April but I rent a house for 6 years, made some transformations inside and buy some furniture, so the deposit dropped to about 700K. Now I have again 1 mio in a Thai bank, but until August there will never be 3 month with 800K. If I shaw also a nice deposit into an European bank does it help?

What can I do?

Thank's

For the same type of visa all you will need is to have 800k or more any any bank account anywhere and obtain the visa in Singapore. There is no three month requirement for that. What has the 3 month requirement is a one year extension of stay from Immigration inside Thailand (where you do not have to make border runs every 90 days). If you can run three months together with over 800k in your Thai bank account you can obtain such an extension of stay and not have to travel again and if you can do it at the same time the following year you can continue to receive extensions of stay from immigration. The cost is only 1,900 baht per year (plus maybe bank letter at 200 baht) so cheaper than having to make visa/border runs.

It's 400 k for the non-imm O not 800 k. I know this because i just picked up my visa in Singers today. Be warned everyone..they now require a bank statement not older than the month you apply for the visa. For example a statement from May is USELESS in June. They are very tough on this at the moment. I saw half a dozen guys in front of me turned down due to this. Also photocopies are not good enough, originals must be shown.

Regards.

But you are married to a Thai national, aren’t you, and produced your marriage certificate? Zugady says he is 57, single, which means he falls into the category for retirement. If the Thai embassy in Singapore wants you to show the amount of money in a bank that you would need at Immigration in Thailand to convert from another status to non-O status, then this means 800k for the OP.
