webfact
Picture: Daily News Daily News reported on the snapping of a crane at a construction site in Samut Prakan. The crane fell on some houses and killed a motorcycle taxi driver called Chalerm Jamnong, 48. Rescue services had to extricate his body from under some counterbalance weights. Bang Bo police mounted an initial investigation into the collapse of the 8 ton crane. They discovered that it was involved in construction of a five story luxury condo building and had been in operation for just a few months. All permits were above board and applied for. The driver of the fixed crane Sirirat told investigators that he had entered the crane but had not yet lifted anything. As he turned the crane it snapped as a result of soil erosion on supports under its base. He suffered a minor arm injury. Daily News reported the one death and two injuries in the incident. Popular Post Captain Monday
Close engineering schools and stop construction management certification. Skip any geologic site analysis it is a waste of time. Give out heavy equipment operating licenses to all who enquire free with no exams or apprenticeship. When a crane accident happens in Thailand it is the ground itself at fault.

Popular Post Bangkok Barry
No doubt there is a Safety First sign on the fencing around the site. But as it's in Inglit they don't understand it, so (satire alert) not their fault. 1
