I have just started using Tiscali UK Broadband.

Whilst using Azureus through the day there are no problems, but at 4.00pm ish, my torrents show 'Connection Error (timeout)' until 11.00pm ish when they seem to resume.

It seems to me that Tiscali have solved the peak hours bandwith problem by somehow stopping the transfers.

Has anyone else experienced this, or know a way round this?

I had Tiscali 2mb unlimited when I was back in England for about a year after switching from NTL. Within the first month I got a letter saying you are using to much bandwidth between peak times of blah blah, anyway i must of got this letter several times over the first 6 months and each time they threatened to put my onto a seperate server just for the people know to download so much. I think i managed to stay out of the slow server by replying to a few emails and threatening to cancel. In the end i just decided to download during the night when it was not a problem for them. They call it Unlimited and yet they want to restrict your downloads, I never had this problem before with NTL. Sorry I couldnt help much on your problem just giving my 2 cents.
