Early British rock 'n roll.  Wonderful, init?

The B-side, You Went Away, should bring back some memories, too, then.

I think I must've played it once. Sometimes, "B-sides" really were "B-sides".  :cheesy:

I saw them in the early '70s at South Parade Pier, Southsea, Portsmouth. Can't remember too much about it!  ????

Led Zeppelin with Going To California off of their '71 Led Zeppelin IV album.

The only Led Zep I ever bought was no. 2 and this was my favourite track:

Split Full Album

Yes, I've got the original vinyl of that one too. I hope it's still where I left it 20 years ago.

Pretty sure I saw them in the early '70s at South Parade Pier, Southsea, Portsmouth.

One of my faves as well. Also one of REM's best IMHO.

They were a wonderful progressive band.  Radio Free Europe was their first non-album single back in '81 and got a lot of airplay.

I appreciate your personal feedback on those numbers, JetsetBkk.  :jap:

Just figured I'd put this up here for 80s Music fans. My sister is at a concert in Los Angeles today with some great bands. Not everyone was into the alternative stuff but if you were you'd probably recognize a lot of the people playing there.

That's quite a list . . . for 80's fans.

In this case, for late 70's fans . . . Public Image Ltd with Public Image off of their '78 Public Image: First Issue debut LP.

I was totally into the Smiths and Morrissey's stuff .This song was one I really liked.

My all time fave from the Smiths . . . How Soon Is Now, their '85 non-album single.  As with all great tunes, the full or extended versions only!

Excellent lyrics, too.

I am the son

and the heir

of a shyness that is criminally vulgar

I am the son and heir

of nothing in particular

. . . .
