Wild Thing

Sorry but not clever enuff yet to attach vid etc.

Group is called "Social Distortion".

Song can be anything you like. My fav track is Bakersfield.

Been around since '78.

Worth an earful.

Ok. I am a late entry to the thread and do not want to read 19 pages.

Is this about commercial music or is anybody free to join in?

Thanks

An excellent band.  Here's the trick to attaching a vid:

1) Copy the vid URL.

2) Paste that URL in your post.

3) Pat yourself on the back for a job well done.

Just to note:  Sometimes YouTube disallows linking directly to a vid, in which case  you can only paste the URL.  No problem as clicking on the URL gets you to the vid.

Social Distortion with Bakersfield off of their Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes CD released on January 18, 2011.

First off, welcome to the thread and enjoy.

:welcomeani:  :intheclub:  :drunk:

Anyone can join here, for the small price of ฿10,000, which can be sent to my Bitcoin wallet.  This will allow you to receive all of the club bennies:  Stickers, an official membership ID card, a signed 8-1/2 x 11 glossy of your favourite artist, and a very cool "Blast From The Past" tie-died T-shirt.

Rules are to post music which falls into the timeframe of the decades listed in the OP title.  Rules can be, and are broken, occasionally.  Most of us here are, or were at one time, radicals, after all.  This is how you break the rules:

Social Distortion with Ball And Chain off of their '90 eponymously titled album.

Social Distortion with an excellent cover of Johnny Cash's Ring Of Fire off of the same great album.

It Coulda Been Me.  Again, off of the same LP.

Well, there you go eh. An Adelaide late night announcer suggested them. Great stuff and unkown prior to me.

Well, he's got good taste, then.    They're a good punk rock band out of California.
