Or maybe its as simple as its the weekend and the guys who will be dealing with the mail orders wont be back until Monday?

It was not the weekend when the stock arrived and began to be sold in Bangkok only. The online orders could still have  been accepted  and dispatched when the staff arrived after the weekend, if that were the case.

In the bin with all of the other household rubbish. Then, the guys working the rubbish lorries open up your and your neighbour's waste bags looking for anything of value to them. Finally, anything that hasn't spilled out onto the street is hauled off to the local landfill/waste incinerator.

I just paid 100 baht for a HIP bio tech kit at my local pharmacy here in Isaan.

I paid 80 baht each for 3 at my local pharmacy here in rural Thailand

Good to here that people can get the tests so cheap.

Not really you have to buy 20 for 700 baht, you want that many? plus the website crashed predictably straight away then when came up all sold out

What matters to me is that yesterday just 9 people are reported dead with/from Covid, or about 15% of those dead on the road.

Which is an irrelevant comparison...

One can look at the low number of Covid deaths being reported in Thailand on their own optimistically.... I find the numbers surprising when compared to other countries, with better medical facilities, but have no evidence to dispute them.

Perhaps so at the government site, but out in rural Thailand it is so much easier.

I went to my pharmacy in the village and bought 3 @ 80 baht each. I could have bought more or less if I wanted to.
