Taking A Honda Wave Back Home In My Container..?

I am aware I will pay VAT and DUTY, IF someone has a rough idea..? But how much to register the ######a with DVLA.

YAMAHA FINO jusy 45,000 but in UK tHE EQUIVQLENT IS 1,500 POUNDS.

is it worth the hassle to stick on my container or not..?

advice needed

hi jason, go ahead, its peanuts for taxes etc,,.did you buy the bike new ? if so you will unfortunatly get taxed on that amount, however ( and this is the way to go ) lets say you bought it seconhand for 20000 baht,get a receipt for that amount and in the uk this is the price you pay duties on,you will need a thai sign off reg ( in english ) showing the frame and engine mumbers ,make model, engine size etc,. not dificult, the only sting in the tail is that all bikes under 10 years old need to have an SVA test by dvla,.your bike will go through fine,.fees for first time reg and tax will be 68 pounds,. the sva was 45,,. i imported 17 containers of bikes to the uk between aug 02 and nov 06 so i have an idea what to do,..if you need any more help you can send me a direct message,
