▶︎ Recoveries: 8,711

Monday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 2,507,471 with 22,303 deaths.

The news comes as a panel of specialists at the Thai Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) has approved the use of Chinese-made Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines in children aged 6 and above without adjusting the dosage, said TFDA Secretary-General Dr. Paisarn Dunkum yesterday.

The TFDA has also asked the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) and the Biogenetech Company, two importers of Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines from China, to send more information to back up their requests to expand the use of the two vaccines to children, aged 3 to 17.

I wonder how much it cost the 7-eleven guy to get that approval?

Here is an idea.  Just report number of deaths, but report them in relation to number of other types of deaths including motorbikes, cancer, diabetes, mosquito born diseases.  Let people make up their own mind where the real risks are.

Yesterday a few people were demonstrating at the roundabout against drinking alcohol to prevent covid infections... So stupid they better could spend their time for no alcohol while driving or wearing helmets as prevention of the many deaths in traffic.. Covid is nothing compared with the daily accidents

There always going to be accidents , always find idiot who dont wear helmet whit motorpike or drink and drive! Also always going to be idiots who not take vaccine! But covid maybe can go away if people are not idiot's whit it!

Yes covid numbers in Thailand are meaningless coz they not test nobody and even deaths they not put in right category.

China may decide to live with covid after the Olympic and mass vaccination using the local made Messenger NRA vaccine which modelled known technology used in Moderna and Pfizer. China accepted that the older inactivated virus technology used domestically is less effective against covid variants than mNRA. It is now a rush to produce mNRA vaccines. Likely the travel bubble talk will result in vaccinated travel lane.
