Poor air quality has been reported in 28 areas of metropolitan Bangkok today (Monday), with the amount of PM2.5 dust in the atmosphere exceeding safety limits, mainly due to stagnant air flow and an accumulation of airborne dust particles due to emissions from increased road traffic.

The Office of the Attorney-General (OAG) in Thailand has resolved to file malfeasance charges, under Section 157 of the Penal Code, with the Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Political Office Holders against exiled former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra over the illegal transfer of Thawil Pliensri, secretary-general of the National Security Council back in 2011.

99 Thais safely evacuated from Ukraine to Poland and Romania

A mother and father tragically passed away yesterday, with their young son and his aunt surviving with minor injuries, after a trailer truck driver fell asleep and ran over their vehicle while they were sitting in the emergency lane with warning signals flashing waiting for roadside assistance in the Mueang Chonburi district.
