KhunBENQ Posted March 1, 2022 Share Posted March 1, 2022 No it's surely not the same. Assuming AlkaSeltzer has the same contents everywhere it comes with "Aspirin" (acetylsalicylic). That is until he was diagnosed with high blood pressure in the mid 1960s and there really weren't many drugs available to treat it. The recommended treatment was to lose weight and curtail sodium content. Two tablets, the recommended dose of alka-seltzer contain 500 mg of sodium, and his doctor wanted him to consume less than 1000 mg of sodium daily.
