New Lamp For A Sony Projector

Hi All

I have a sony projector VPL-ES3 and need a new lamp for it LMPC162. However I have been told by a couple of shops in Fortune and Pantip that it will need to be ordered and take 45 days to arrive. Silly me for not having a spare but I need to use the projector soon. Does anyone have any ideas on where to get one?

Suggest you try one of the Sony direct stores {Paragon} or their 'service orientated' centres {Silom}.

They just installed a replacement in my projector (same model)...

Bloody expensive though, think it was almost 17,000 Baht!
