5 times Blackpink’s Lisa proved she’s Thailand’s unofficial princess

I like Lisa. Great look, she knows how to move her body, she can sing, and maybe she is even a nice person. And as far as I am concerned she can do with her life whatever she wants. It's up to her.

But what I think is funny when people see her as Thai role model who loves Thailand so much (that she didn't visit for 3 years). It reminds me to Tiger Woods and how some Thai people want to make him more Thai than he is.

Tiger wood is American citizen, porn in America and his father is American, he never been to Thailand except one time to play the golf. He has no connection with his mother's family nor with any Thai people. The Government granted him Citizenship, hopping to use him in promoting tourism, but unfortunately he refused to discuss it and referred them to his manager, which means no free services. Liza on the other hand born in Thailand and studied art and dancing in Korea where she joint the famous Korean band. Liza helped her community and promoted Thailand name all over the world. Being so occupied by your work doesn't mean you don't love your country. Give her a break, she deserve it.

Why did she not come to here home and her home country for the last 3 years? Was she sick and couldn't travel? Would nobody let her in? Was she scared for her life? As far as I know she could hav

As a member of an internationally famous pop group, she's been travelling the world performing at concerts for the last 3 years, and in the recording studio doing her solo hits and with Blackpink.

Most successful  Asian girl group ever. their MV's racked up over a billion views, one has almost 2 billion. Lisa got 100 million views on her single in 24 hours, a record. I'd say that's pretty famous

Just a thought here---Maybe you should get out of your cave more often, and visit the real world.

So just well known within Thailand. Not exactly of international fame

Just because you don't know them doesn't mean they aren't internationally famous. Their songs have been registering on music industry charts since 2016 in the USA, Australia, Europe, the UK, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand to name a few. So yes they are internationally famous.

I live in Australia and am 67. I have watched BlackPink videos for the past 2 years so that's an indication of how famous they really are.

As far as I know she could have traveled to her home country and her home province and her home anytime. But she didn't. Is that what people do who love their "home"?

Obviously all this is up to her and is she prefers to live somewhere else that is perfectly fine. But please don't pretend she is a princess or has such a strong connection with the country, etc.. She isn't and she hasn't.

This is the most boomer rant I have ever seen, and that says something on this forum
