Static Electricity On My Tv Screen

I have two TV's a Panasonic, and a Sony WEGA, they are located in different rooms. The Panasonic requires dally cleaning because of the strong static electricity emitting from the screen. It's noticable 3-4 inches from the screen, and like a black hole sucks everythin onto the screen. The Sony WEGA emits very little static electricity, and requires very little screen cleaning. What's going on?
