What is the procedure for an online appt at CW for Non O marriage extension?

I've already booked a 08.30am appt for next month online and got a confirmation email.

Do I queue up with everyone else or is there a designated place at the front of the line?

I'm worried that I may get into the office about 10 mins late due to the large crowd at opening time.

Anyone?

Your confirmation email should have a desk number.

The "assistants" may check your docs.

Note: print out your confirmation email.

Don't you need to attend bank lower level?

Seems curious time for appointment.

Yes. Counter L1, Nos 28 and 30.

08.30 is one of the offered time slots. The next one is 09.30am

As I said, I am a bit worried that I may be late getting to counter L1 with such a large volume of people in line in front of me. Usually, there are a few hundred people waiting for the doors to open at 08.30!

For the past 2 years, they have accepted a bank letter dated the day before appt.

In my experience with CW they want an updated bb on the day of application.

Easily done by making a deposit at same time of obtaining bank letter.

However not possible with 8.30am appointment.

Immigration would obviously be aware that the first appointment of 8.30 people would always be late due to what you outline.

Yes. Update bb on morning of application at lower level machine.

Bank letter obtained day before from my local branch.

Has worked for past 2 years. Did they check the date or is a day old letter tacitly accepted? Who knows?

But, I wonder why they offer an 8.30 slot for marriage extension, knowing that the banks only open at 8.30!?

I also have to renew my extension based on marriage ......is my understanding correct that you must book an appointment now rather than just walking with the documents ?

You can at CW now.

Previously only for extensions retirement.

At the CW office .....so I can just walk in with documents in hand to get the marriage extension without making an appointment  ?

You can do either.

Walkin is ok and appointment.

FWIW .. appointment works a treat. Can't imagine why anyone would do a walk in, however no problem.

Sort of, on the same note, is a "Mor Prom" app  proof of covid vaccinations enough to get past security, or is an antigen test needed?

I don't think it has changed and all that was needed was to complete a form to confirm you are not a high risk of being infected.

If needed they should accept proof on Mor Prom that you are vaccinated. I am aware of it being accepted elsewhere.

they only want an updated bank book.
So you can do this online transfer 10 baht to this account. then remove the 10 baht again....
UPdate the bank book on the automatic machine outside the bank, do a photo copy....

All can be done before 8:30 (if the Update book works!)

Are you saying they don't require a bank letter!?

I think you are talking about the 2nd visit, 30 days consideration. I am going for an extension with wife, not a 30 day under consideration stamp.

I think he referring to getting the letter the day before you apply. They will accept one but want a copy of your updated book on the day apply.
