How to get BBC TV News live free

Featured Replies

Is it possible to get BBC TV News live ?
I dont like SKY News as it offers little new other than the weather every few minutes.
When I do try to get SKY it comes up with the picture boxes for ticking where there are traffic lights etc.

What do you use for tv channels now ?

On a mobile device get the BBCNews App.

3BB have BBC World News as standard on their TV package.

Funny you should mention that CharlieH, because on my local network here in Patong, I could only get BBC World News on analogue, and the picture wasn't brilliant, so when I was offered the free 3BB GigaTV box as part of my Wi-Fi package (well free for two years at least) I decided to try it and was able to get the BBC World News on digital and the picture is brilliant.

Although most of the other programs are Thai, there are a few movie channels, which I will shortly be exploring – – very pleased indeed!

OP - Thanks for your comments about 3BB TV package, I have only WiFi with them.
I don't have / need / want a TV just use my laptop.
I watch about one hour of a downloaded TV series a day, very occasionally 2 hours.
I listen to BBC Radio News once in the morning.
The BBC news clips on YT are often out of date.

Haven't you asked a similar question to this before?

VPN - I have 2, I started on surfshark was a little flakey with BBC, but its set up and ready for other regions. I find private internet access very reliable, never had an issue with server IP (they have a specific iplayer / streaming media server that they guarantee won't fail). Cost 50B a month, or thereabouts on a yearly contract. Not free, but close enough.

Which provider is that?

Private Internet Access

all the VPN providers have some kind of chat feature, it’s always good to take a month trial, then ask the chat operator if they are running any promotions, they can always offer you a special promo code.
