Good news for all, especially Brits /Aus/SA etc.

Gordon Murray will put the gear shift of his new hyper car on the right as most people are righthanded. However:

????If you learned to drive a manual using you left hand and spent many years doing so and now drive a manual in Thailand you maybe smarter, more creative et al.

Do you not shift a manual in Thailand with your left hand?

I never noticed any real difference shifting right handed or left handed. Now if the patten was reversed it might be an issue.

I used two drive a truck you had to used two hands to split-shift. Right on the primary, left through the steering-wheel and to the secondary...

Doesn't bother me, I can use either hand.

The only issues I ever had were:

1. Turn signal and windshield washer reversed (still get's me)

2. Turning from a parking lot small road onto a NOT busy road onto the wrong side of the road

3. As a pedestrian, looking the wrong way when crossing the road

Having lived in both LHD and RHD countries I can drive stick using either hand to change gears.

Yeah, it was no problem at all. Buts again, were the gear-pattern reversed it likely would have been.
