Jay Clay the number is very important and it has to be a true figure 8 no overpass.

What makes a figure 8 great is the middle of the eight.

Imagine Asoke Suk with no traffic lights or signs with cars going 120 kmh

I don't have to imagine it been in many taxis through that intersection.

Chang circuit no longer holds a grade 1 license so could not host an F1 event until the track is inspected and re certified and a new licence is granted.

you'd have thought the 'reporter' would have pointed this out - assuming they did any research prior to writing the article. together with analysis as to whether the location could provide all the ancillary infrastructure required to host a F1 event, not least the accommodation...

And Singapore puts on an amazing show. A full week of racing and entertainment.

Actually, it's only about half-a-week of shameless price gouging. With regard to hotels, that commences on the Wednesday before race day.

Born in England, grew up in England, educated in England, got all his chances at motor racing in England.

Races for Thailand.

Ungrateful wretch.

And don't forget where Alfa Romeo's Zhou Guanyu learned ALL his racing skills either.

"Certainly, it would provide a superb amount of great publicity for the city and attract thousands of F1 fans to stay in the city and party."

That is assuming that the "State of Emergency" is a thing of the past, and the bars are open again!

However, it will no doubt take a few years to build/adapt the streets to cater for such an event,  by which time there will have been an election (hopefully!), and the next PM will be more inclined to allow people to enjoy themselves ((hopefully!)

Why is there always somebody to drag up the dirt, and bring people down,

Alex , the young fellow is doing really well, everyone on the F1 circuit will tell you he is a nice guy,,   had the chance to meet him , and he is very open to his fans

its not his fault what happened when he was a kid.  !!

Oh dear oh dear, rattled you cage with the facts have we ? Now lets see. His Father supported him, introduced him to motor racing and looked after him when his Mother was in jail. How does he repay that kindness ? supports his criminal Mother after she was released, always its her he takes around the world sometimes. and guess what ? sides with his Mother and almost ignores his Father nowadays, the very person who loved him through those years when he was a kid 'cos his Mother was banged up. Yeah right, nice chap, I don't think and illustrates his Thai traits perhaps.

I mean.... You could at least try reading the article??

"If Thailand has a realistic chance to attract the Formula Grand, they will need to find a new location away from the countryside, possibly in Bangkok or even Pattaya."

Burriram is not on the cards.

thank you for promoting literacy in Thailand, clearly a known issue here on this forum

Or, just not good enough to get wins on the UK Racing calendar, so is therefore not chosen to represent UK

Just saying
