If there had been effective red flag laws in effect this guy would have been blocked.

There is a lot of information coming out that this kid has been previously arrested.. there were plenty of red flags, no new law was needed.  If law enforcement had done its job we probably wouldn't be in this situation today.

The real blame imo goes to every US citizen who is not willing to change this ridiculous

law.

Many more innocent children will be shot before things change,if they ever will.

Blood on the hands of every one who is pro the 2nd amemdment.

That's because we consider it a god given right.. if you want to change it you will have to do so by force.

We have a Party in the US that hates democracy and the entire Constitution, except for one single Amendment. That party would destroy everything the country could and should be, so long as they retain power and control. That party calls guns and gun ownership 'patriotic', when that party is the polar opposite of patriotism. They are jingoists, not patriots who believe in real democracy and freedom.

Some members of that Party actually sent out Christmas cards and Easter greetings where their entire family, including kids, stood in front of symbols of those holidays while brandishing the same style of weapons this latest killer used ripping apart children's bodies.

I have my doubts there is a cure or a vaccine for that kind of sickness.

Funny, the party you say hates democracy voted to free slaves, give them votes, give women the right to vote.  Your party voted against all these freedoms and yet here you are saying that "your" party was on the right side of history.

Funny how that turned completely around, isn't it?

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2022/may/25/joe-biden/joe-biden-said-mass-shootings-tripled-when-assault/

Once the assault rifle ban between 1994-2004 ended, mass shootings more than tripled. While it is impossible to scientifically demonstrate the link, the evidence is overwhelming both within and outside of the USA. Access to more guns and more destructive guns leads to exponentially more deaths.

That entire article is BS.  The fact is prior to all these so called "fact checkers" rewriting history there was no discernable difference between before and after the law.  I remember law well.. it was absolutely a farce.  It banned flash suppressors, certain stocks, etc.. it simply required you to modify the gun so it looked different.... manufacturers simply made a modification to their weapons to comply with the new law... hear this.  It was the EXACT same weapon only slightly modified.

Why bring up examples over 100 years old?  You could point out that ten years ago the Republican Party supported free trade, a tough on Russia policy, and minimal government interference with business (none of the current Ron DeSantis-Mickey Mouse stuff).

That Republican Party has changed completely, hasn't it?  I consider Trump Republicans to be major RINO's.

The present Republican Party in now way represents the historical Republican Party.  If you don't know that, then you don't know what the traditional Republican Party was until very recently.  Which is probably why you don't know what a Republican In Name Only is.

And what would you call someone who isn't even willing to try?

A GOP senator.  Or a pseudo-Democrat senator, you know their names.

Oh, you mean the Republicans who saw the USSR/Russia as an adversary (better dead than Red), and who saw Nazism as a negative?  Anyone recall the old television advert "this is not your father's Oldsmobile"?  All the WWII vets are gone, and rolling in their graves.

CPAC held a convention in Belarus?  A quasi-fascist dictatorship is a model for the direction of the GOP?  Definitely not your father's GOP.
