Take leisurely strolls in the parks here in BKK, and today visited a few Temples in the Bang Phli Area while walking 20 km today.  Try to walk at least 10km a day 6 days a week. Swim in the Condo pool, and then I sit out on the balcony and do some reading, I have over 1k books on my Kindle.  Play Sudoku and Wordly to keep my mind involved.......So much more to do if you live out towards the beach Areas

All of the things that I used to do on my time off when I was working - it's just I take a lot more time doing these things now!

Sometimes, late in the day, I will think to myself 'what have I done today?'  - I respond - F@#k all!

Do I care?  No

I am 60 now .... hardly wearing myself out any more -  I might last too long!!

I do science projects, amateur radio, build antennas to receive weather satellite data, manage my little educational charity, currently look after my Thai niece, walk, jog, swim, marvel at life and nature, people-watch, browse the internet, eat, sleep....

Lately too much time on this damn thing, waiting on house to get finished.

Daily stroll at park & surf with the dog, along with scooter ride.  Maybe ebike out to the house build.  Photography, as a hobby, though needing some inspiration of late.   Drones on hold, again, till house is done.  RC plane, cars & boats also, yep, still a kid at heart.  Pedal bike, when not too windy out.  Don't mind brutal temps, but a headwind sucks.

Chill surfside, actual beach time.   Lot's of out & about, again, on hold, as need to be here for final touches on the house build.  Mostly head south for those, unless popping up to Krung Thep to visit daughter.

Only a couple restaurants locally that we like, so explore looking for new ones, within 50 kms, just to get out of house.  Something surfside, lakeside or hillside view will motivate us to visit.  If food sucks, then an OK day out.  Dog gets in some new sniffs, I might get snap of a new bird species or some other critter.

Can be a challenge, self entertaining when retired.  Not a night owl or alcohol drinker.   Nights are torrents.

Some days I have absolutely no idea where the day is gone ! I usually get up around 8.30, usually in bed by 10pm. Dont stop doing one thing or another all day. Days are always full. Evening more relaxing but full none the less. NEVER  have I  ever been bored or thought " what am I going to do today"

I spend a few hours each day taking care of the animals and do some work

in the shop or in the garden.

I love it when something breaks down because then i get to fix it!

I come up with all kinds of projects to do,mostly building new things or improving

other things.

Also spend a few hours per day on Facebook because that is how i keep in contact

with people who have the same hobby.

My main thing is raising special color homing pigeons and it takes a lot of time to get it right.

Like camping also but it is hard to find people who want to do that ,sometimes i go alone.

Not enough hours in a day.

My missus makes me work all day.

I deliberately put shelves up in the kitchen at

10 degrees off level, and all the plates rolled off.

She called me a stupid C.

But I can have a rest now.

I have an unhealthy obsession downloading movies, sometimes I even watch some of them.

It all started with a book "1001 Movies you must see before you die", so I started finding them, at the moment I am almost there, missing 3-4. And most movies from the last 40 years, running out of storage space.

Pigeon pie

6 days a week i either play golf or cycle for a few hours, after that the days fly just doing this and that

I visit temples, pay too mutt for national park entry, go to cooking classes, hug drugged-up Tigers, feed monkeys, ride elephants, and buy loads of Thai silk and triangle cushions. I once went to Patty's but a sexy laydee stole my gold necklace. Never again!

In short, the usual expatty things like that.

And I sometimes post in response to some of it. Which is even more pointless than reading it in the first place!

I work full time (5 days), but flexible hours allow me to be (mostly) home by 4PM.

Then it's a spot of pottering in the garden (if there's no cricket on TV), dinner then inside to avoid the mozzies and more TV.

Weekends are always full, home maintenance (Madam makes a list, always something busted), gardening, fiddling with the solar.

Not sure about when I will retire, could do it in a couple of years but I think I will keep working at least part time or I'll get bored / need to get out of the house.

Oh, and I do a little modding on ASEANnow.

Since you asked … I am retired over a decade in Chiang Mai at age 75. So, the fat boy in the candy shop days were enjoyed but now I am enjoying being with my Thai wife and Stepdaughter as a family. Today is a good example of the General flow. Up, wife makes breakfast and coffee for me. I watch PBS Newshour, then check email, Facebook, Quora, ASEAN NOW with responses. By 11:00 we were on our way to an area cafe/restaurant out in the countryside, a bit up in the mountains. A great venue we had not visited previously. Walk around, post photos to share with others I have FB contact with on 6 continents. After returning home, rinse down to freshen up, sit in the office reading a book and … as usual, take a nap. Now down with the family and watching TV (favorite movies, TV series off the external hard drive). A pleasant retirement, thank you. Other days, it is the market, running errands, usually on the motorbike. Yes, previous to our being a couple I would have reported trips to Bangkok and Pattaya and a good deal of contacting the Thai beauties on the internet, out to play pool in the evening with a meal and flirting with the .”Evening Stars”. I wish all well here in the LOS … still a “happy camper”.

Certainly a possibility here. Let’s see, started visiting the Thai beauties in 2009 and met my current wife 2017. Absolutely no medical issues. Perhaps they really were all new to the trade and virgins (the latter, I found no evidence). At any rate consider myself fortunate …

You are an Pensioner that goes out looking for virgins to pay to have sex with?

Days seem to pass fairly quickly, cattle to feed and water morning and evening, grass  to cut and carry  most days, cycle to the farm, my daily exercise, today cycled to local town round trip about 5k,  just finished a batch of banana muffins.

Anybody involved with farming knows never short of a job to do, a lot of manual work have toned up losing around 15kgs. So pleased with that ????

But I have learnt to accept relaxing downtime as beneficial ???? not time wasted
