Disagree - I think he was so busy on day one he's been exhausted since then:

As far as deaths go, I think that the vaccine availability gave Biden a much better chance of keeping the numbers down. Recent waves (4 and 5) were almost as bad as 3 and there is no excuse for those.

You may disagree as much ss you want  , but there is never an instant implementation of policies. Plus deaths occur around one month after first symptoms.

There is an excuse. The anti-vaccine and anti-mask propaganda and actions from a significant number of Trumpers, lead to a higher death rate among people who voted for Trump. Basically, Biden has been prevented from getting the full effect of his Covid-19 policies by his inconsequential political opponents.

Well, it cerainly true that corporate interests are stronger than ever in dictating what the State does. And what side of the political spectrum has been most enthusiastic about enriching corporations and enhancing their political power?

“I actually think there’s a fair chance that we could completely lose our constitutional democracy for a couple of decades if we keep making — if we make bad decisions,” Clinton, 75, said.

Well having had "sex" with an intern and got caught, I guess he should know?? LOL

The reference was to making bad decisions. However you do realize it was meant to humorous? hence the LOL?

If one has to return to the stage and explain that 'actually it was humour folks', then clearly it wasn't.

One man's noise is another man's music! Obviously not your kind of humor, fine. Don't fret about it!

You're right. There is no excuse for the lies told by the right wing about the dangers of vaccination.  Or are you going to claim it's mainly liberals casting doubt on vaccinations?

And you really think Republican politicians have been far more lackadasical about promoting vaccinations because vaccinations are a popular cause with their constituency? You think all those unmasked people attending Trump rallies indoors and outdoors were outliers? And finally, you think that by doubting highly respected source, in effect claiming possible fake news, you are actually making valid points?

I'm talking about the timing of availability - not any possible dangers from these vaccinations.

'Highly respected' websites deserve that label if they demonstrate who they are and what they do.

What do you mean by "demonstrate who they are and what they do?" Give an example of what you're after.

And who are "they" exactly? And how exactly will this sinister organization use its enablers?

I guess this is one of the issues which prompted Clinton's comment.

The Texas Republican Party over the weekend voted in favor of a platform that refused to recognize the legitimacy of President Joe Biden's 2020 victory, while also declaring that homosexuality was an "abnormal lifestyle."

Appearing on CNN Monday, conservative commentator Margaret Hoover acknowledged that the Texas GOP platform was a significant problem for the party, although she tried to distance it from the views of run-of-the-mill GOP voters.
