Baron Samedi Posted June 18, 2022 Author Share Posted June 18, 2022 I won't be using a car on a daily basis. The bus/van/train thing is to move from one country to another once in a while. I'm not planning to stay in Thailand all the time. One tourist visa then move to Cambodia, a tourist visa there, etc... Last time I went to Thailand, I stayed there several years on ED visas and I got eventually fed up. bbko Posted June 18, 2022 Share Posted June 18, 2022 Trying to rely on an app to book ground travel in Thailand is opening the door for confusion, just go to the bus/train station before you want to travel and ask them when you can buy a ticket. As for taxis, find a friendly trustworthy taxi before intending to travel and arrange the date/time. Buses. Too many to mention some of which don't appear on booking sites or have a Thai only web presence which means you have to do the hard yards and get to their office, which might or might not be at a bus station.
