leonardjones625
I've heard there's some sort of arrangement where you can fix all your small scratches once per year. Does this count as a claim that will affect future rates? Did I completely misunderstand? Thanks
Popular Post WayWokeWhiteGuy
Yes, you can do this once a year, and your rates will not go up as long as you do not claims it. 1
Popular Post Kwasaki
Ask your insurance company. I pay to fix any own damage up to 10,000 baht that way I get cheaper 1st class insurance cover.
digbeth
yes this is a 'dry' claim but check with your insurance, your rates won't be going up but you won't get the no claims discount next year, some might even ask for an excess to be paid in order to do a 'dry claim'
connda
The answer is no. File a claim and your rate will go up so that the insurer compensates themselves from your future claims. Once you have a habit of making claims? Look out. Insurance is for major claims. Any dings or minor accidents - fix it yourself on your own dime. They will get any payment made to you back in spades.

Yellowtail
Insurance companies are in the business of collecting premiums, not paying out claims.
