Re-entry permit options?

Recommended Posts

Just been told it takes 2 days to process a re-entry permit at Jomtien, Pattaya. I need my passport tomorrow, and will most likely have to leave for work on Thursday 30 June.

Not certain yet, but will probably fly to Songkla, and not certain if that will be from Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi.

Is it possible to get a re-entry permit from either of the 2 airports even if I am taking a domestic flight?

I don't recall any reports of Jomtien needing 2 days to get a re-entry permit.

You can cannot get a re-entry permit when traveling on a domestic flight. The desks are only in the International departure zones for immigration.

I assume your domestic flight is stand alone ticket.

Be aware that for reentry permit at Suvarnabhumi the office is past security check just prior to passport control Zone 2.

Whereas for DMK the office is just the other side of passport control.
