BANGKOK (NNT) - The State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs for the People’s Republic of China is visiting Thailand this week to discuss strengthening economic and strategic cooperation.

State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to visit Thailand as a guest of the kingdom’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs from July 4-5. The visit will build on an earlier trip this year by Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai, who visited Huangshan City in China from April 1-2.

The state councilor will also pay a courtesy call to Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha at the Government House during his upcoming visit. Additionally, he will attend a luncheon in his honor hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Both sides are expected to prioritize strengthening relations on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, as well as revitalizing the economy in the post-pandemic era and the current global situation.

They are also expected to discuss trade cooperation, such as facilitating agricultural product transportation from Thailand to China, connecting the China-Laos railway using Thailand’s rail system, and strengthening cooperation through various multilateral frameworks.

The two nations will also exchange mutual interest views on various regional and international issues.

Make sure he has a COVID-19 test.  Put him in quarantine for 14 days.  SinoVac doesn’t work so well, you know.  Thailand needs no surprises, nor should it take big risks at this time.

Here comes the belt and roads that's ruined a few countries already be very careful but they won't because they want a big brown envelope and don't care about anything else

The few countries now have a rival G7 $600bn financial plan to ruin their countries with the big brown envelope.

When are you going to seal the deal on these submarines, and when is our railway going to be done?

The personal visit will be interesting.
