Revenue Department boss calls on tax residents in Thailand to file 2024 returns by March 31
It looks to me that she is correct (as long as you did not somehow obtain Thai citizenship). I was curious so I too a quick look at the Australia-Thai DTA. Her assessment is consistent with Article-19 (Government Service) of the Australia-Thailand Double Tax Agreement (DTA), which states (ie edited it a bit): 2. Any pension paid to an individual in respect of services rendered in the dicharge of government functions to one of the Contracting States (ie Australia) .... shall be taxable only in that State ( i.e. Australia). Military service is IMHO considered Government Service. The noted DTA goes on to note thou, if one is a citizen of Thailand (and still managed to get this Australian pension), then the Australian government service pension would in that case be taxable in Thailand. Is your wife Thai ? .... If so, does she get your Australia pension when you pass away if she survives you? -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
It may look like a Fiat Multipla but its interior is not as versatile as a Fiat Multipla given that the Multipla was a 6 seater 3+3 with decent storage space of 430 litres or with the rear seats folded 1300 litres of storage space or the option of removing the rear seats competely providing 1900 litres of storage space and the added bonus of if you didn't want to watch the driver driving the seats could be reversed so passengers could look at the rear window https://www.theautopian.com/never-mind-the-looks-feel-the-width-the-1998-fiat-multipla-was-beautiful-on-the-inside/ Here is another car that is similar size to the Wulling the Toyota Yaris Verso At just 3.86m long, 1.69m wide and 1.6m tall, the Yaris Verso still manages to offer lots of interior space. With all seats in position, it is a full five-seater with 390 litres of boot space. owever, the Yaris Verso also has a versatility that is unequalled by other small cars on the market to date thanks to its unique design of second row 'flat-in-floor' retractable rear seats. Within seconds, any member of the family can fold away the left and right rear seats to create a low, flat floor and an incredible 2,160 litres of load space. That's more than the Renault Scenic which is a much larger car. https://www.carenthusiast.com/ncar2808/toy_ver.htm rear middle seat could be removed other rear seats fold into the floor allowing a 4ft double bed to lay flat on the floor -

I agree. A combination of R/E and stocks are best. R/E has the advantage that you can buy it with OPM (other peoples money). This is generally known as a "mortgage". A mortgage in the US usually runs for 30 years. Why is that? For a very practical reason: Houses in Europe are designed to last for 2 to 3 generations. Unless much mainainance is invested, a house in the US is desighned to last for 30 years. The duration of the mortgage. True "wealth building" works in other ways. So it's the "land" that produces the value over time and not the house. Most "American Houses" would not get any building-permit in Europe. The construction considered as "too flimsy". Considering the fact, that the US home consists of a basic framework of 2x4 lumber, no wonder that hurricanes like those structures. -

What's behind the rapid rise of Members-Only option on YouTube?
Good Idea! Do you have the time to create a YT video and then post here in TV? -

The taxi driver wasn't happy with my review.
Its well known the same way we know drivers rate us as passengers... You probably don't know it because you are clearly ignorant of what goes on around you... ignorant in life, ignorant of the information around you. (there is also plenty of information all over the internet which backs that up - its easy to find... and no, you a google search yourself). The fabrication is clearly yours... making up stories to bash the Thai's. Repeat: There no way the driver knew what rating you gave him unless you told him. So... If you upset a driver so much that he returned to confront you, its for a another reason you are ignorantly oblivious to and thats not surprising as it seems you walk through life upsetting everyone around you with the ignorant fecklessness of pished up halfwit.- 1

"Unless you are inside trading, then land & RE are never losers" - YOUR words, not mine. Property is not like stock. One example is say a worker is transferred by their employer and has to sell. They may take a loss on the sale. They really don't have a chance to "sell smartly." They need the equity from the sale to buy in a new location. There are many other examples where not everyone makes money on property. -
