Yes, there are some really nasty Thais online. You should see the anti-Cambodia stuff, it's very unpleasant. It's no great secret that a lot of Thais don't actually like foreigners very much. There are no shortage of incidents where Thais attack foreigners who are quarrelling with other Thais, even where the Thais were in the wrong. Sadly, a lot of foreigners seem to be completely unaware of this. (Or perhaps they purposefully block it out.)
