Is the bridge border crossing open at Chiang Khong for Non-locals. Wondering about a visa run with a METR visa.

You will need to apply for a Lao visa on arrival. Cost now is $40.

A Lao eVisa is only eligible for use at a few entry points. The bridge at Chiang Khong is not one of them.
