Chadchart Zeroing In On Improving City Plan

BANGKOK Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said in a live Facebook broadcast at 5.30 a.m. this morning (August 12) after jogging that improving the city plan is an important task with the capital’s colour-coded system determining land prices, Matichon newspaper said.

 

Currently commercial zones are coloured red,  high density housing zones orange, medium density is brown and less dense yellow. 

 

However Chadchart pointed out that the issue is how to ensure that the city plan determines the direction the metropolis takes instead of how high a building could be in each zone.
