andiwilson
Hi there, I'm looking for a resource to help me apply for a settlement visa to the UK for my wife. Something akin to a step by step help guide in a blog/website/forum thread. Any up to date info is very welcome. Specifically right now I'm look at booking the English test for the first part of October in Bangkok. Thanks in advance

Especially this bit... "This guidance is not intended to be a step by step guide and certainly not a "Dummies Guide" to the complete process," OK, maybe read this then, it’s all here, if you need professional advice, maybe seek out an OISC Advisor. https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa If you’re looking for an English test, have you looked here https://ielts.idp.com/thailand/about/article-how-to-book-ielts-checklist?gclid=Cj0KCQjwxveXBhDDARIsAI0Q0x3FDp5dobL0Kk4SFD-260ub3n80tb0rs_o3et4jO-853F330vHmHkMaAkinEALw_wcB
globalThailand
Can confirm that guide was a great starting point for me and gives pointers to where to go for more info - the folks here are very helpful here too. Started this process 5 years back and gone through the initial spouse visa, FLR and ILR successfully.
