The thing with the tattoo is absolute nonsense. It may apply to certain areas you frequent or circles you mix with. 

But tattoos in today's world have also become fashion statements and you see them among middle aged women in Bangkok. 

That said, mother is 83 and got herself a tattoo around 10 years ago and she's definitely not a bad girl.

Tatoos in Thailand  have religious and mythical relevance going back hundreds of years. Yak Sant tattoos etc.

They can be the  sign of a 'good girl'

Sounds like a definition and preference thing.

I like a good girl who can be bad also.  Tattoos don't bother me at all.

Sak Yants........are worn by both women and men, many bargirls have them as well, safety is of importance here and they believe that Buddha will protect them...... No disrespect, but many bad girls are someone's Mom. 

Agree about the tattoo remark.

 

A Thai kid told me that the cops here are so conservative, that a tattoo will get you pulled over if they're looking for drugs.

 

However, like Yakuza, Thai gangsters cover almost all the skin hidden by shorts and t-shirt with ink.

Totally disagree about tattoos. Some are downright beautiful. And by "bad girl", are you referring to a woman in the industry, or just a bad girl? 

 

I would say one who has little respect for others.

One who is overly self absorbed.

One who has a sense of self entitlement.

And one who does not have a great attitude, and is not alot of fun to be around!

Or one who takes over 200 selfies a day!
