Thailand reports 7th confirmed monkeypox case

Thailand’s Disease Control Department reported the country’s seventh confirmed monkeypox case today (Sunday), in a Thai woman living in Bangkok, who has had a sexual relationship with a foreigner, but has not travelled abroad during the current spread of the disease.

4 Myanmar nationals die, 9 injured in road accident in Kanchanaburi province

Four undocumented migrant workers from Myanmar were killed and nine others injured when a pickup truck in which they were travelling ploughed into a roadside ditch and overturned near the Thai-Myanmar border in Sangkhla Buri district, of the western province of Kanchanaburi, early this morning (Sunday). The car’s driver fled the scene.

5 waterfalls in and around Khao Yai closed to tourists until end of September

Fake news about storms make up 10% of cases in the last week - Covid fake news on the wane, DES
