Free university education would boost equality – but can Thailand afford it?

What about the people that have diligently paid off their student loans and not been a free loader?

Should they get tax relief for doing the right thing in the past if you introduce this new policy? Why should the useless that took advantage of the system and then did the entitled thing and not pay back get it canceled? If it was any other form of loan, then it would result in you being blacklisted. This will encourage a very negative attitude towards loans by the young... bad idea.

Education is not for free... needs to be paid for. Why should those who work and pay taxes that don't have degree pay for the entitled? University is a privilege... not a right.

The State should not be paying for this sort of stuff... it should be using the funds to help the economy, public services, and the least advantaged in society.

The entitlement of some now is just out of control. How about working hard and justifying your existence so you can get ahead?

Muppets.
