What on earth were these people doing riding an elephant. Are they so out of touch they don't realise that this is animal abuse.

All elephants to some degree are injured by carrying people.

They never forget!

 

And that is why so many "Mahouts" get killed by them!

God created animals for human use. It is the only reason they exist and they should be used in whatever manner (includes being eaten) that humans see fit.

Only thing standing out in the blip, the elephant, IF, really around 70 yrs old, as very old for an Asian elephant *

 

The humans, at those ages, could have needed hospitalization if the tripped over a curb.
