The Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) and the Thai Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) have smashed a gang offering fake or substandard health products for sale online to the public and have seized several million baht worth of the goods.

The CPPD police said that the scammers advertised their health products by making false claims about their quality and effectiveness. They also illegally used the images of celebrities, doctors and medical facilities to promote their products.

After customers fell for the trick and ordered the products, they would soon discover that the products were ineffective and, when they tried get a refund, they were refused.

I do wonder about the cheap vitamins I buy on lazada .

A good review means nothing . How can you review something without

a lab test .

Names on those hard/thick plastic bottles are easy to fake.

How do you know your D3 , B12 , .... are working ?
