Can a 90 day foundation visa be infinitely renewed as long as the work permit is valid?

Recommended Posts

I assume she is getting 90 day extensions based upon volunteer work.

If she is only getting 90 day extensions she can only do the them for one year and then after that she would need a new non-o visa.

This from the immigration order for extensions of stay.

(1) Each permission shall be granted for no more than one year.
(2) In the case where there is no certification made by any government agency under Criteria (3) hereof, each permission shall be granted for no more than 90 days of stay, the total period of stay shall not exceed one year from the date of entering the Kingdom.

She got her volunteer visa from the Thai embassy in the UK in Jan and so far she has renewed it three times at the Chaengwattana immigration.

1) so can she renew one more time?

2) after the year is over can she apply for a new Non O volunteer visa at Chaengwattana or have to leave the country?

As per Ubonjoe: "the total period of stay shall not exceed one year from the date of entering the Kingdom."

So need to leave the country to get a new visa.

She applied for and was issued a non-o visa that allows a 90 day stay in the country when she used it to enter the country.

She has been extending that 90 day stay at immigration for 90 days at a time.

1. What day did you enter the country with the non-o visa. She can get a extension that will only be valid to that day.

2. She would not be able to apply for another non-o visa at immigration. They can only be applied for if on a tourist visa or a visa exempt entry.

She could apply for a non-o visa at a nearby embassy or consulate with supporting documents from the organization.

She entered Thailand on the 10 th Jan 2022.

So she can reapply the Non O volunteer neighboring country or she can do the visa if she goes on holiday in UK?

It would be nice if you actually read his comments:

"She could apply for a non-o visa at a nearby embassy or consulate with supporting documents from the organization." So she can do both.
