The "security guards" do nothing, and the police seem to have very little interest. Further evidence of the breaking down of American society. Crime in America is way up and morality is way down. Don't know if it is still the same but Manchester used to be run by street gangs. Many years ago when i was a student in Manchester my mate worked in one of the designer clothes shops. He told me on a regular basis gang members would try on the most expensive stone island coats and then casually say "I'll take this one" and just walk out the shop without paying.
